Hi Giulia,
There are lots of challenges. This is not only for Airbus. This is valid for all because the industry is moving fast and cycles are becoming shorter. When it comes to the space industry, our traditional and strong customers are facing the challenge that they need to invest big amount of money in assets that are designed and manufactured for 15 years at least. But the environment is changing very fast, new solutions are coming now that will make solutions launched a few years ago quite obsolete.
The different stakeholders of the industry are seeking and pursuing different ways. Some go for payload and mission flexibility, some go for constellation, some go for HTS. They all try to bring disruptive solutions to the market. It is very clear to me that the ecosystem will be different in 5 years fromnow and strong players may have disappeared while new players, maybe more agile will have come.
Our mission in this environment is to anticipate, to adapt to these changes and try to understand what it means for us. This is where I am convinced that being part of OneWeb for instance was a necessity. This is one of the options that can change the game in our industry tomorrow.
